APW - E Howard & Co, Boston, series V with scarce HC to OF conversion dial, L-S (just over 15-S), 14K gold OF original EH&Co case with gold cuvette, SW-SS retaining KWKS arbors, WE-SSD with seconds register at 3 allowing HC model mvt to correctly orient in OF case, lever escapement, 15J, gilt mvt, s#52428. Gross weight of assembled watch 72.0 dwt (111.9 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: GRO, fine mvt condition overall, fine mvt condition overall, gilt plates with rubbing MFS, several FS and scattered small spots, center arbor cup absent; perfect dial; near mint hands; case with medium wear, MFS, no dings or dents, ET reduced with area of complete loss at right side; firm bow thinned at top, crown shows light wear; good glass crystal.
